A performance for children based on the novel by Kate DiCamillo.

A rabbit named Edward lived in a house. The rabbit was very pleased with himself and had good reasons for this: he was owned by Abilene, who cared for him, coddled and loved him. Unfortunately, Edward was extremely vain and he loved only himself.

While traveling by ship to London, Edward falls overboard and from then on begins his unbelievable journey: from the depths of the ocean to the fishing net, from the top of the rubbish pile to the vicinity of the campfire at which the bums are warming, from the bed of a sick child to the streets of Memphis. During the journey the rabbit experiences much good and evil, meets people who are happy and wronged, wise and limited, cruel but also full of sacrifice. He owes everyone a great lesson in life.
